Recap of 2020 - here's what happened at Sellforte

2020 will probably go down as one of the most bizarre years of the 21th century. Floods, forest fires, fatal viruses, you name it. If you’re reading this, well, you’ve made it through it all! If you ever thought about giving yourself a pat on the back, now’s the time.

But, as a great man once said, “chaos is a ladder”. Especially as a startup one cannot stay still; Economic peril behind every corner, you must find a way forward, a way up, regardless of the odds. And so we did.

Here’s a brief summary of the 2020 highlights

Number of companies using Sellforte to optimize marketing has more than doubled during 2020

  • Optimizing marketing investments’ commercial impact really hit home with retailers across Europe

Sellforte is now live in...

  • Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Estonia, UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, France, Spain, Italy and Poland

12 new superstars joined the Sellforte family

  • Including Country Leads, Data Scientists, Customer Success Managers and more

We made huge improvements on the product, for example:

  • Developed the functionality and design of our product
  • Comparison between different time periods
  • New harmonic color palette
  • Recommendations and calculated business impact on changes made in marketing investments
  • Effect of external variables (e.g. Covid-19)
  • Brand/product category -level results
  • Cross effects between different product categories / brands
  • Even more granular marketing activity level results

Sellforte was #5 most applied startups in Finland during Nov-Dec

  • Wow, word gets around fast, doesn’t it

We won the Vertical AI track in Summer SaaS competition by Flashpoint VC

  • No physical trophy, unfortunately

Whew, what a year it has been! But as we all know, there's no rest for the wicked ;) We're working on something BIG, so stay tuned!

Although things are moving forward fast, one thing remains the same: Our first and foremost objective is to ensure that everything we do here at Sellforte aims to maximize the business value we deliver for our customers. This is why the company was founded, and we will continue to do so in 2021!

Because at the end of the day, there's nothing better than seeing our customers thrive after making the right commercial decisions.
